Why Will My Laptop Only Work When Plugged In. My laptop wont hold a charge it only works plugged in. My laptop showed it was plugged in but then at the same time it would tell me it was also not charging.
And i only bought it a year ago so i am not sure if the battery died. There is no reason why a laptop wouldnt work just fine without its battery as long as you take a few aspects into account. Now with the computer running remove the power plug and watch the power meter.
For them to work without a battery fitted.
First of all make sure youre using the original power adapter. Plug the laptop in and wait until the battery charge meter shows it is at 100. The battery condition is normal and about has 650 cycles. Can you Please help me and tell me why.
